National Climate Finance Capacity Building Project Launched

The Climate Change Presidency announced the launch of the National Climate Finance Capacity Building Project. The initiative aims to help Türkiye more effectively channel financial resources toward climate change mitigation investments and to strengthen institutional capacity in climate finance.

This development lays the groundwork for implementing the climate change incentive mechanisms and the Türkiye Green Taxonomy envisioned by Climate Law No. 7552, which entered into force in July 2025. The project plans to foster collaboration with both national and international financial institutions.
